Online Teller is Community Financial Credit Union's (CFCU) newest electronic service -- online account access via the Internet. Designed to provide you with the very best in modern, secure remote access, Online Teller allows you to access your account information and funds, 24 hours-a-day from your personal computer.

With Online Teller, you can view all of your Credit Union accounts including checking, savings, money management, share certificates, IRAs, and loans including lines of credit, auto and personal loans. Currently, Online Teller does not allow you to view your Visa account(s).

Currently, you can:

• Check current account balances
• Transfer funds between accounts, including cross accounts
• Request a withdrawal by check
• View your account history for the past 90 days
• View account information including interest rates and payment dates
• Reconcile transactions that have cleared the Credit Union
• Download your posted transaction information to personal financial management software such as MS Money or Quicken.
  
  

Basic access is free.

You can enroll for Online Teller access right now by printing, signing and returning the sign-up form to CFCU. Be sure to read and save the Internet Account Access Agreement and Disclosures. If you are not sure your computer has what you need to use Online Teller, you can read the "Requirements" now.

Your account will be activated within 5 business days from when the Credit Union receives your signed enrollment form.  If you have an e-mail address, CFCU will e-mail confirmation that your Online Teller access has been enabled.

Online Teller uses an integrated security system to protect your account data from exposure to unauthorized persons. This system is a multi-tiered security policy that governs all aspects of the Online Teller service. Each tier governs a unique aspect of your Online Teller session and transactions with the Credit Union. These policies form a rigid security implementation that enables members to conduct business with the Credit Union via the Internet with an extremely high degree of security.

Your personal account also security measures in place. Your access code is specific to your account only. Additionally, the Online Teller system will automatically lock access to your account should three unsuccessful attempts to access your account be made. If this occurs, e-mail or call the Financial Services Department at 417-862-0471 to have your access reset.

Your Online Teller access code can be from 4 to 20 characters and/or numbers.

This is an example of an access code that would work, but should not be used for your account. Your access code should be unique and not something that could be guessed by friends or relatives.

You do not need a special computer configuration to access Online Teller. Generally, faster processors will give you a better/faster experience. We recommend the user have at least a 486 processor (Pentium preferred). Macintosh computers will also access Online Teller.

For optimal graphics and data transmission, you should have the fastest modem your connection will support. However, because most computer owners do not have high speed connections, Online Teller is designed to transmit information and load graphics quickly using a 28.8 Kbps modem.

To access Online Teller, you need to use an Internet browser that supports US version security encryption. We recommend Netscape Navigator 6.2.2 or higher and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5.0 or higher. Unix and Macintosh versions of these browsers will also work with Online Teller (we recommend using the most current versions).

You can use AOL with Online Teller as long as you have version 3.0 or higher.

Having Internet access is the key to Online Teller. It is important to note, you must use a browser that supports Online Teller.

You may experience difficulty connecting to Online Teller if you use a PC that is part of a network, such as a LAN or WAN that is connected to the Internet. Frequently, security barriers on many networks can prevent connection with secure, encrypted Web sites. If you experience difficulties in connecting from a networked PC, ask your network administrator about possible interference caused by security barriers.

If you forget your access code simply submit a new enrollment form (which will replace any currently on file with us). We will reset the access code to the new one you request.

To change your access code, simply click on the "Change Password" button located on the left vertical tool bar.  Complete the form and submit it.  Your access code change will be effective immediately. CFCU strongly recommends that you change your access code the first time you login to Online Teller.

Your account number can be found in the top right hand corner of your statement.  When entering your account number you don't need to enter the leading zeros. 

If you wish to download your account history into your personal financial management software (Quicken or MS Money), you may do so from the "Account History" screen. First, retrieve the history of the transactions you would like to download. Then select the appropriate format for your software.  You may save this file or open your software immediately. To enter the download information into your personal records, follow your software's directions.

Transferring funds between your Credit Union accounts is easy with Online Teller.  After selecting the "Transfer Funds" function from the left vertical tool bar, a list of your accounts from which you may transfer funds will be displayed.  Additionally, a list of your accounts to which you may transfer funds will also appear.  Simply select the appropriate accounts, enter the amount you would like to transfer and click on "Transfer Funds".  It's that easy.  When transferring to or from a CROSS ACCOUNT, you will see the access assigned to each account.  After clicking on the "Transfer Funds" button, you will be taken to another screen to enter the share suffix of the CROSS account to complete the transaction.

A cross account is our way of allowing transfers to and/or from completely different member accounts. If the Cross Accounts have the same primary owner, that member can have ALL access to any cross account(s) via Online Teller and MemberConnect. If the primary members on the accounts are different, Cross Account access may be restricted.

To sign up for cross account access, click here and complete, sign and fax or mail the form to the credit union.

Upon completion of your transfer, you will receive a confirmation of your transaction. This screen will display a summary of the transaction which will appear in your account's transaction history as well as on your account statement. Record this confirmation by printing the screen and save for your records.

Withdrawing funds from your Credit Union accounts can be done by check.  For security purposes, all check withdrawals are made payable to the primary owner of the account and are mailed to the address on record.
